countCLOUD Data Reporting Enhancements and New Offerings

The StreetLogic Pro. count sheet has been a long-standing output of countCLOUD. If you've utilized countCLOUD over the past decade, you’re likely familiar with its evolving formats, classification offerings, and limitations. Over the last year, several key enhancements to the count sheet, and improvements to the countCLOUD system, have been implemented to deliver more precise and actionable count data for the end user.

Key Improvements:

  1. Directional Crosswalk Movement: We've expanded our standard pedestrian and bicycle crosswalk data to include crossing directions. This improves microsimulation capabilities, providing more granular insight into pedestrian behavior at intersections and roadway crossings.
  2. Bicycles in the Roadway: In addition to reporting bicycle crosswalk movements, countCLOUD offers turning movements for bicycles traveling in the roadway. This detail enables a better understanding of bicycle interactions at an intersection or roadway.
  3. Expanded Classification Options: countCLOUD has transitioned from its original 2-class count system to support 2-, 3-, and 13-class classification requests. This expansion ensures that we meet the diverse data requirements of our users more effectively.
  4. Additional Count Types: Beyond our long-standing offerings of turning movement counts and point counts, countCLOUD now includes trail counts and access counts. Trail counts provide insights into directional pedestrian and bicycle movements along pathways, while access counts provide a cost-effective way to determine inbound and outbound traffic volumes at a parking lot or development access.
  5. Enhanced Summary Reports: Each count sheet now features improved comprehensive daily summary information, presented in both tabular and graphical formats. The daily summary tabs include hourly and daily volume data, with expanded peak period analytics covering AM, Mid, and PM peak hour metrics. This data is automatically derived from the completed counts and includes peak hour heavy vehicle percentages and peak hour factor data relevant for modeling and signal timing applications.

With turning movement count costs as low as $7.00 per video hour, and a guaranteed turnaround time of just three business days, countCLOUD offers the most cost-effective data processing solutions available and is now more flexible than ever.
