The countCAM4 and countCAM3+ have built in daylight saving time handling, however each device will handle the time change differently.

The countCAM4 will fully handle daylight saving time changes with respect to both the camera time and scheduler time and all scheduled recording times will start/stop as expected.

The video below, shows how this will look for the start of daylight saving time in Spring.

The countCAM3+ also handles daylight saving time with respect to the display clock. However, the scheduler times will not be updated until the CC3+ is rebooted. To account for this manually:

• Add an additional hour of recording time BEFORE the desired recording times for recordings impacted by the start of daylight saving time (Spring).
• Add an additional hour of recording time AFTER the desired recording times for recordings impacted by the end of daylight saving time (Fall).
